Save Me (Princeton Love Story, Starring YOU!)ep.1

Save Me (Princeton Love Story, Starring YOU!)ep.1
Yn POV Pitter-patter. Pitter-patter. The sound of my bare feet slapping against the hard concrete blended with the sound of the rain. The pouring rain. I was running away. The shadows followed close behind me with their weapons. BANG. They fired at me and missed. I can't take it anymore... being with him... surrounded by them. Focus. I cut across an alley and climbed over the chain-link fence, only making the cuts on my hands open back up. Red covered the clean part of my shirt. The shirt I stole... from him. He gave me what I needed, but took away all I had. BANG. Again, they fired, one bullet grazing my bare ankle, causing more blood to leave my body. I was getting weaker. I needed someone to save me. As I passed each street light, I was reminded of my mother. She had such a bright spirit. And my father, so loving and full of life. I missed them. I should just give up. Then I could die and be with them. No. I can't give up. They would want me to keep fighting. If I stop no! w they'll kill me. Or worse. I could be his forever. I'd rather be dead. I had gotten away from them, finally. I still kept running. And the rain poured harder. Pitter-patter. Pitter-patter. These streets were so unfamiliar to me. Everything here is unfamiliar to me. I ran about four blocks down the empty sidewalk; no people, no cars. The sky was black. Everything was dark. I turned my head back, just to make sure the shadows weren't there, and... I tripped. Every bone in my chest felt like it ...

Miley Cyrus - The Climb (2009)

Miley Cyrus - The Climb (2009)
Miley Cyrus - The Climb (2009) "The Climb" is a song performed by American recording artist and actress Miley Cyrus, for the 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie. The song was written by Jessi Alexander and Jon Mabe, and produced by John Shanks. It was released on March 5, 2009, as the lead single of the film's soundtrack by Walt Disney Records. The song is a power ballad with lyrics that describe life as a difficult but rewarding journey. It is styled as a country pop ballad, and was Cyrus' first solo song to be released to country radio. The instrumentation includes piano, guitar and violins. "The Climb" was generally well received by critics and was nominated for the Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media at the 52nd Grammy Awards. However, the song was withdrawn from consideration by Walt Disney Records because it had not been written specifically for a movie as the category's eligibility rules required. The song achieved worldwide succes! s and became a top ten hit on charts in Australia, Canada, Norway and the United States. In the United States, the song peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the eighth best selling digital single of 2009. Five months after its release, the single was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Since, it has been recognized as one of the best-selling singles in the United States. The song's accompanying music video was directed by Matthew ...
